The NFL Playoffs for the 2015-2016 season are finally here!!! 8 teams from the AFC, 8 teams from NFC will attempt to achieve greatness by winning Super Bowl 50. On the AFC side of the bracket teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers snuck in as well as the Houston Texans who shockingly got in by winning the AFC South. In NFC, the Washington Redskins made their their first appearance since 2012 in the wild card spot. Also, the Minnesota Vikings found a spot after a close win over the Green Bay Packers in week 17. Here are some bold predictions made by some Quill members Christopher Flynn and Bradley Howell.
After the first round, two AFC teams and two NFC teams survived to move on the the divisional round. In the AFC the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans and will travel to Denver to go play the number one seed Broncos. Also, the Pittsburgh Steelers outscored the Cincinnati Bengals. They will go to the number 2 seed New England Patriots for the divisional round. The Cincinnati Bengals haven’t won a playoff game in 25 years and are 0-7 under head coach Marvin Lewis. In the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks pulled off the W against the Minnesota Vikings, to see the 15-1 Carolina Panthers. And the final game in wild card round of the playoffs for the NFC, was between the Washington Redskins and the Green Bay Packers. After a slow start, the Packers were able to pull through so they can advance to the divisional round in Glendale vs the Arizona Cardinals.
